Almost every comment below and on the blacklist page from the public are from the same ip addresses. There are about 7 IP addresses that are duplicated over all comments. All of them are from google apps or two data centers. One data center is in Russia and the other is in Amsterdam. Two other IP addresses that keep poppping up are two private dsl users from Mountain View California and Indiana. Both have been reported to their network providers for making threatening comments. Sanguinarious is using a server from Tranquil Hosting in North Carolina. Is also using google apps. Sanguinarious is the web master for dailyniteowl.com, whyweprotest.net and another Iran activist site that can be found if you check the ip address for their server.

I wrote a blog about a very similar topic in the summer. You are welcome to read it at:#Iranelection in retrospect – mass political movement or beauty contest? http://bit.ly/MGrKa

I think definitely anyone with ties to the Chinese Communist Party or Chinese Army, the Cyber-basij or Iranian Security Forces should be identified and their sites very aggressively blocked. You can probably identify them by their propaganda spin. I think Ashraf City and the PMOI abroad are the best set up in this area. This is their second Iranian Revolution and they are very professional in what they do.
As far as their position on the left, I think every country has a left, or is leftist, and right now that tells us little. A leftist country may be pro-democracy or Stalinist/fascist. Their economy may be functioning, or crashed. As for the PMOI, there has been a lot of black propaganda from the regime that Europe does not credit. I think as far as Obama goes, I think he is courting Tehran because of the real threat of Nuclear War.
His family is in range of the Hunger strikers' PA system, and if he really thought they were terrorists, he could easily move them off. I don't think most Americans want this, many don't understand the issues involved, though these are grave for both Iran and Iraq.
The democratic left is part of our world and deserve full participation in the democratic processes of every democratic country, even if they win, and the US should be involved in stabilizing Democracies, regardless of
their ethnic makeup, politics, or Religion. If there are serious or grave Human RIghts (HR) issues, ongoing
torture and executions, major political surveillance and arrests, abuse of women, war crimes.
I think that we should protect organizations and parties, countries from any blacklist that exists--they may be out-dated, religiously motivated, or just plain stupid. Obviously a blacklist hex tag is a good idea. People need as much information as they can get in order to decide how to manage their lists. And people cannot get this without free discussion and a chance for the banned or blocked sites or users to respond.
People involved officially in spreading terror state propaganda should be blocked by site administrators after review of posted information.
I am a little alarmed that no one from or supporting the PMOI is posting on my site--I've been busy elsewhere.
The EU has strong feelings of support for them, probably because of their very similar fight against HItler and their reverence for their many martyred resistance fighters--they have laid down their weapons--their political views and participation should be protected and supported--as ours should be.
We should be very careful about supporting the Governments, as opposed to the people, of Terror States--I'm not speaking of organizations or countries on lists, but those who practice genocide against citizens and especially those who use sale of organs to prop up their shaky regimes, abduct journalists and abuse or kill them, keep them in vile conditions etc. .

Your mother should have wacked you from now and then, instead of filling your tiny brains with hopes of glory and fame. Now it's too late. Your only success is to offend people and to be a further obstacle of the positive. You definitely need a psy.

The two choices you give don't make sense.
If you can conclusively document that certain individuals are IR agents then their names should be listed, otherwise maintaining such a list is counterproductive and will only serve to damage your cause.

I agree. I don't see how an organization like this can fight with other people and make a blacklist when that is exactly what they are fighting against.... Either that is irony, or hypocracy.

If this is what your organization is dedicated to, then you can forget my donation... I was going to donate until a friend showed me that list.... I think I have a better way to spend my cash that doesn't involve supporting your hate for those people.

No wonder you can claim a majority say to keep the list. Your choices are bass-ackwards!
Your choices read:
Yes! It is silly. I believe there is no problem.
no! It helps. I believe there is a problem.
But they SHOULD read:
GET RID OF IT! It is silly. I believe there is no problem.
KEEP IT! It helps. I believe there is a problem.
Your BLACK LIST is pointless and a waste of time & resources. You spend all your time trying to discredit people. Why not put all that energy into HELPING the people of IRAN. You are the laughing stock of Twitter.

Since he posted his recent own comments on the blacklist (the one with the anonymous video ans the follow ups) all *newer* comments got deleted.
So safe yourself the effort... ^^
